Trends to Try this Summer (ft. Revolve)

The first day of Summer is less than 2 weeks away, so it’s time to start prepping your wardrobe for the warmer weather! Typically Summer whites are my favourite thing to wear, but this year I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and add some new trends (and colour!) into my wardrobe. Here are my favourite 3 and how I styled them.

  1. Asymmetrical top

This chic trend is the perfect addition to your Summer 2021 wardrobe! Asymmetrical necklines have been seen in the most creative looks of the season. It’s a modern option that attracts the eye and make looks unforgettable. I like this one because of the thick material (great if you want to have a no bra day) and it’s super flattering as well because of the way it will hug your body . There is also a pair of matching biker shorts which would look super cute as a set, but I like pairing the top with denim or any other pants – it just matches everything!

2. Argyle

This preppy aesthetic will add a new retro lease of life into your wardrobe and is dominating Fall and Winter 2021-2022 trends. We saw sweater vests make a huge comeback, so when I saw this knit vest and matching skirt, I had to have the set! I love the neutral tone and how classy it looks together as a set, but you can totally style both pieces separately too!

3. Sage

I’ve been really into the green trend this year, which is why I love this sage playsuit. It’s made of a thick knit material with an elasticized waist and side tie detail that’s flattering for most body types. I usually only wear neutrals, but couldn’t help adding multiple pieces of this colour into my wardrobes.
