My girlfriends and I went on a road trip over the long weekend to the Okanagan! It’s become one of my favourite things to do during the Summer because it’s not too far to drive, but still a nice getaway from the city. We split the trip up into two parts, two days at Sparkling Hill Resort & Spa and the rest of our trip in downtown Kelowna.

The Drive

We left Vancouver early in the morning to beat traffic and arrived in the afternoon. I think that with good friends, a few hours of a drive is always fun and the time passes quickly. We went through Osoyoos on the way and stopped by one of our favourite winers, Burrowing Owl.

While staying at Sparkling Hill, we chose to do a wine tour with Elite Mile Wine Tour one of the days. They picked up and dropped us off from the Resort which was really convenient. We visited 5 winers – Sandhill, Quailsgate, Mission Hill, The Hatch, and Rollingdale.
